Structured polycarbonate is a light, impact-resistant cellular material, manufactured of polycarbonate b y way of extrusion, characterized by:
- high mechanical resistance;
- good heat insulation;
- weather resistance (can be used at temperature range from -40°C to +120°C);
- low weight;
- easy treatment and mounting; protection against UV rays (which ensures prolonged useful life of the material, prevents its yellowing, loss of durability);
- possibility to create bent structures without thermal treatment;
- 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee regarding retaining of optical features.

MULTICLEAR™ SOLAR CONTROL provides pleasant ambiance by allowing greater light transmission compared to standard tinted products whilst keeping the infra-red heat out. This obviously reduces air conditioning cost if the heat inside the glazed building is over-bearing.
The grey and silver combination of colour provides an aesthetically pleasing product once glazed whilst needing lesser frequency for cleaning due to its colour or effect.

The veranda, conservatories and atriums built with transparent and translucent materials will allow heat build up by solar transmission inside the building and in hot summer months this is unbearable.
The solar transmission comprises of UV, Visible and Infra-red spectrum. The UV radiation is harmful to human skin and can cause cancer of the skin. The visible spectrum provides the light that helps to create a pleasant mood and allow better concentration or focus. The infra-red part is known as the heat energy. The solar control product allows the light transmission whilst stopping the heat build up.
It is important to allow light transmittance whilst keeping the heat out which can be unbearable in summer months.
