Sheet polypropylene
An environmentally sound plastic Polypropylene offers many advantages due to its composition. It is a polyolefin, and doesn’t contain any halogens, or Chlorine. It is also free from any plastifiers, such as phtalates, which are often used in the production of PVC. After finishing with a product made from Priplak, the material can be recycled, or burnt, without any risk of toxic substances harming the environment or people’s health.
Following features are characteristic for this material:
- low weight
- resistance against exposure to different chemicals
- easy to process
- suitable for application in food industry
- low moisture absorption.
Application areas:
various decorative packaging:
- for cosmetics, food products, textiles, etc.
- for printed souvenir products
- different types of printing: silk-screening, UV, offset
- stationery goods.
With the help of most simple tools this material can be bent, cut, drilled or press cut. Sheets can be bonded together using cyanoacrylate super glue or ultrasonic bonding method.
